It started with a duplex
CJ bought a side-by-side duplex in Minneapolis, lived in one unit, and rented the other. It was a hands-on introduction to financing, repairs, tenants, and the long view that comes with owning property.
A range of firsthand experience
Since then, CJ's experience has included single-family homes and short-term rentals in the Twin Cities, vacation homes near the water in Okoboji, Iowa, house flips, wholesaling, and creative financing.
