A move that changed the direction
CJ moved from Chicago to Minneapolis in 2017 after eight years in corporate sales. Not long after, he bought a side-by-side duplex in Minneapolis. Living in one side and renting the other turned an interest in real estate into firsthand experience and, eventually, a new career.
Norman Homes
CJ and Katy built Norman Homes as a husband-and-wife real estate team. They work side by side at Pemberton RE, giving clients two experienced people to think through pricing, negotiations, inspections, timing, and all the decisions that come with a move.
Who CJ helps
CJ works with lakefront buyers and sellers, growing families looking for more space, downsizers planning their next chapter, and clients building new homes across the Twin Cities western suburbs. His home base is Mound, and his work keeps him close to Lake Minnetonka and the communities around it.
How he works
CJ listens first. He explains what matters, points out the tradeoffs, and gives clients room to make a confident decision. The goal is not a quick deal. It is a good move and a relationship that lasts well beyond closing.
Away from work
CJ earned a bachelor's degree in Organizational and Corporate Communications with a minor in Psychology from Northern Illinois University. Outside of real estate, he enjoys boating on Lake Minnetonka, golf, martial arts training, and working toward a private pilot license.
